Johnny’s Gorge- This is 20 to 30 meters deep and is meant for advanced divers. Johnny’s Gorge is located just three minutes from Minerva and is specifically popular for spotting dolphins. This diving site also offers enough vibrant reefs that is surrounded by grouper, snappers, unicorn fish, barracuda and sometimes one can also spot a shark.
Dixon’s Pinnacle- There are three huge pinnacles that are home to many giant Mackerel, Tuna, Barracuda, giant groupers and giant Trevally. This specific diving site is appropriate for advanced versatility and is 18 to 30 meters deep. One can also come across the Napoleon Wrasse that often circles the reef and also spot a school of red-toothed triggerfish and emperor angelfish.
The Wall- This is a small wall of 50 meters that submerges into the shipping channel in Havelock. This is one of the most popular local diving sites and divers can conveniently spot a large number of Wrasse called Pierre. All types of vibrant coral like red, purple and yellow dot the top of the wall and it brims with various types of fish, including lionfish and puffer fish. This diving point is meant for divers of all levels.
South Button- This is one of the most popular diving sites that are meant for all types of difficulty levels and one can spot a huge number of coral and fish. This is one of the diving sites where one can also spot blue fin trevally, turtles, angelfish, crocodile fish, batfish, and Barracuda. This specific diving point is 6 to 25 meters deep and is appropriate for enjoying the experience of watching rich marine life from the close quarters.
Elephant Beach in the Andaman Islands- This specific diving site for scuba diving in Andaman is meant for all levels of divers and it is almost 6 to 25 meters deep.
This is possibly the only diving site in which one can walk into directly from the beach. This diving site has enough sand area and is known for its patches of vibrant corals and small macro fish like pipefish, various porcelain crabs and shrimps.
